We are very excited to host camps at our very own 17,000 square foot wrestling gym, bunkhouses, and rec room. Register now to guarantee your spot. We are limited to 150 wrestlers in our bunkhouses and will allow an additional 20 commuters per session. We do not have separate housing for females so all female wrestlers will have to commute, except for our all-female SEVEN DAY Takedown Machine Camp in June and SEVEN DAY Three Position Camp in August. In order to off-set the additional housing cost for females that need to attend one of our boys’ camps we will offer a $100 commuter discount for our 5-day camps and $240 discount for our 14-day camp.
Our camps (just like all camps) are 70% high school, and 30% middle school and youth. YES, high school seniors can attend our camps.
We take ages 8-19 for the Three Position and Takedown Machine® Camps and ages 10-19 for the Dream Season Camp. YES, high school seniors can attend our camps. We do require that all campers have at least ONE SEASON of wrestling experience.
Register early to take advantage of our payment installment plan! Details below. Commuter option is available for all campers. Reminder, commuters do not stay overnight with us. They must be picked up and dropped off each day. They are welcome to join us for lunch and dinner, but should grab breakfast on their own.
It is very common for our staff to step in and drill / spar / go live with the wrestlers. Obviously we are not there to win or go hard, but to help your wrestlers. If anyone would rather their wrestler (Purler Summer Camper) not train with our coaches, you are expected to OPT OUT by sending an email to us and giving us your wrestler’s name(s) as well as the camp(s) they are attending. [email protected]
Partnering up at Purler Wrestling Camps / Academy, etc: We always ask the wrestlers to partner up at all of our training events, so that they can train with any and all amazing partners we have. It is your child’s responsibility to choose partners close to their age and wt class.
Take our 28 Day Drilled to Death Challenge! All 28 Day Challenge participants will receive a coupon to waive the $179 membership fee to our members only on-line academy. We offer airport pick up and drop off for wrestlers who can fly on their own. Anyone considered an unaccompanied minor by the airlines (this has nothing to do with being 18. For SWA a UM is UNDER 12 and for all other airlines a UM is UNDER 15) must fly in with an adult. We can no longer meet them at their gates or wait with them for their departures.
Round trip airport transportation is available for all camps for $50. We do not accept transportation requests via email, only through on-line registration.
Late booking fees apply if you book a week before your camp date($25), so book early to avoid late penalties and help us arrange for rental vans and drivers. Anyone booking outside of our preferred arrival and departure times will have an extra fee of $40. (If the airline changes the itinerary later you are not charged the extra fee.)
You are booking flights into Lambert International Airport (STL is the code). Please book arrivals between 5:00 and 9:00 pm the day before camp starts and departures for after 6:00 pm the last day of camp or after 8:00 am the next morning for 5-day or 14-day campers. All 28-Day campers are to fly home on the last day since we end early at 2:30. Try to book flights home for after 5:00 pm.
We are an hour away from the airport so early departures mean extremely early departure times from camp to allow for the 2 hour window the airlines require. Please be considerate of our coaches when you book the morning departures. You will receive detailed pick-up and drop-off procedures prior to camp. All pick-ups and drop-offs are scheduled in intervals and this may mean your child will have a wait. If you have questions regarding airport bookings/transportation please contact [email protected].

Do not wander around the campground area until you have been checked in and told where to go.
There will be a registration table set up in the parking lot. After checking in please help your wrestler get settled in his bunk and then say your goodbyes. The parking lot has limited space and we need to let others in to drop off their sons. All parents need to leave the campground by 10:00 a.m. so we can get started with camp.

Session II of the last day will be a very physical review/hard drill session. EVERYTHING covered will be hit many, many times in order to fully reinforce the week’s worth of training. Parents are encouraged to come early and watch what their wrestler has learned over the past four days. Shower, room-check, and head home.
Last session on the last day will go from 1:00 to 2:30. All campers will drill together in one session. Parents are welcome to attend! Shower and head home after.
Three meals a day are provided and will be held in the campground’s dining pavilion.
All wrestlers receive three meals a day. We offer a concession stand between meals for anyone who needs a snack or drink.
Please note, we have a limited kitchen set up and can not cater to individual meal preferences. We do offer gluten free, dairy free, pork free, and vegetarian options. However, we may not be able to meet everyone’s needs. If your child is on a special diet please contact us at [email protected] to make sure we can accommodate them while they are at camp. We do not serve any items that contain peanuts at camp, including our concession stand. We do our best to maintain a peanut-free environment due to the frequency of peanut allergies.
*Any campers staying the night and flying out the next morning will receive a dinner day 5, breakfast is on their own at the airport. Please plan accordingly.
As you can see from the schedule, we will have plenty of time for fun and hanging out. We have a game room area for wrestlers to hang out and watch movies or play games in. We have plenty of room on our 9 acres for outdoor activities as well. There is a volleyball court and large field for outdoor games.
All wrestlers are allowed ONE suitcase along with a back pack/wrestling bag and a mesh laundry bag. Each wrestler will have a 40x 30 x 24 inch shelf and ALL of their gear should be kept on that shelf in order to keep the floor clear for the safety of the kids. Please no trunks/construction style tool boxes. We do not want our floors scratched by dragging them across the bunkhouse.
Here is a list of some things you should pack:
We offer a bulk laundry service for campers staying in between camps, 28-Day Challenge campers, and on day 7 of the Dream Season Camp. If you want your wrestler to use this service please send $15 cash for each laundry day they may need (sorry, we do not have change) in an envelope marked with HIS NAME and “laundry”. We will cover the laundry soap and fabric softener. A mesh laundry bag is also necessary, please make sure it is free of holes! We are not responsible for items that fall out of the laundry bag. Please make sure your son’s name is clearly labeled on the bag with permanent marker!! Sorry, no laundry service for 5-day camps.

In order to maintain a clean and sanitary bunkhouse, we DO NOT allow snacks in the bunkhouses. There is no area to store food so wrestlers are NOT allowed to bring in their own snacks. We have concession items to purchase for $1 to $2 that they can consume in the rec. room/dining hall areas. They range from protein bars to candy bars, burritos, pizza pockets, and gatorades to sodas. In order to maintain a sanitary environment snacks are NOT allowed in the bunkhouse. We need to make sure the bunks stay clear of mice, insects, ants, etc.
Athletes are to stay within the boundaries of our campground at all times. Anyone caught off the premises will be sent home with no refund. Please make sure your child is aware he/she is here to learn and to train. Everyone paid good money to come and have a positive camp experience and that’s what we intend to provide. Any property damage will result in a fine!!
No bare feet on the wrestling mats. All wrestlers are to change shoes prior to getting on the mats.
Parents are allowed to watch the last session on the final day of camp ONLY. We are maintaining a distraction-free zone. Parents are allowed to come visit your wrestler, but must meet in the designated parking lot with the picnic tables to do so. For the safety of the campers, we do not allow parents, friends, or family members around the kids at camp and will not allow any parents to roam about the camp grounds, dining pavilion, bunk houses, etc. If you decide to take them off-campus please have them check out with a coach before you leave.
