All camps are held at our Combative Sports Athletic Center in Moscow Mills, MO (just west of St. Louis).
All wrestlers are required to bring some type of skin protectant, either a foam or a wipe. They are available on Amazon for a reasonable price. Remember, there are no refunds for skin infections. To prevent infections we ask all wrestlers to bring skin wipes with them. We prefer DEFENSE SOAP wipes, but as long as they are anti-bacterial any wipe will do.
It is very common for our staff to step in and drill / spar / go live with the wrestlers. Obviously we are not there to win or go hard, but to help your wrestlers. If anyone would rather their wrestler (Purler Camper) not train with our coaches, you are expected to OPT OUT by sending an email to us and giving us your wrestler’s name(s) as well as the camp(s) they are attending. Partnering up at Purler Wrestling Camps / Academy, etc: We always ask the wrestlers to partner up at all of our training events, so that they can train with any and all amazing partners we have. It is your child’s responsibility to choose partners close to their age and weight class.
We offer you the option to purchase camp insurance through Active Network. If you want to take the risk out of your purchase be sure to add on the Active Refund option at check out. If your wrestler has to attend summer school, is injured before camp, etc. the Active Refund option will allow you to cancel within 48 hours of camp for a full refund! Be sure to read their terms and conditions when you check out.
Airport Transportation is available for campers who can fly independently as an “adult”. For SWA that is wrestlers 12 AND older, for all other airlines that is wrestlers 15 AND older. Please check with the airlines if you have questions about your child flying on their own.
